After using the Meladerm cream for almost 3 months I thought it was about time I wrote this review!
So today I’m going to share my results and tell you whether I think it’s worth buying or not.
By the way my results photos are posted below.
There are more helpful Meladerm reviews posted below by other users that are worth a read!
When I was younger my skin was fairly light and people would always comment on how nice it was.
But as I got older my skin gradually became darker and darker due to age, oxidants and the sun.
I turned 34 this year and realized that I needed to try and do something about my skin.
I wanted my old skin back!
So what did I do?
I ordered Hydroquinone 4% online because I heard it was a very effective skin lightener.
When it arrived I opened it up and squeezed some out and was shocked at how awful the smell was.
The chemical smell was so overpowering that I had to wash the cream off after 10 minutes because it had given me a headache.
So I went back to the drawing board I.e Google and ended up finding this Meladerm skin lightening cream.
The reviews were good and after researching the ingredients I decided to give it a try.
I bought 1 bottle to start with which costs $49.99
After it arrived a couple days later I opened it up and thankfully there was no disgusting smell like there was with the Hydroquinone.
I started applying the Meladerm cream twice daily.
Once before bed and then after showering in the morning.
After applying it I always get a tingling feeling for a couple of minutes but that soon subsides.
My Meladerm Skin Lightening Cream Results
Now they say on the official Meladerm websiteLINK that initial improvement is usually seen within 2-4 weeks but I swear that I woke up one morning after just a couple of days of using it and felt like my skin was lighter.
After using it for 2 weeks a couple of people commented that my skin was looking nice and fresh.
I used to have this weird thing where my face was a lot darker than my neck but after a few weeks I could see my face lightening and starting to match the color of my neck.
It felt so good to see the Meladerm cream was working.
Not only was my skin getting lighter but my complexion was more even and smoother.
My skin just looked healthier and fresher looking because the cream is full of vitamins and also contains an AHA called lactic acid which helps to exfoliate the skin and reveal the newer fresher skin underneath.
Meladerm Before and After
After using the Meladerm skin lightening cream for 3 months I feel like my skin is healthy and more like the way it used to be.
I’ve also started using the cream just once per day at bed time to maintain results so now each bottle should last twice as long.
Anyway I’m so happy with my results that I wanted to write this review and spread the word that the Meladerm cream works.
You can get yours from the official website at LINK
If it doesn’t work for you right away then don’t give up. Keep using it for at least 2 weeks and I think you’ll be over the moon with your results.
They also say that it can take 2-4 months for full results to show so if you see results in the first month then keep going and things will get better.
It feels so good to see your skin getting lighter and healthier.
They also have a 30 day money back guarantee which is good so if you don’t see results for some reason then you can get your money back.
I’m a shade lighter!
It worked for me!!
Meladerm is impressive stuff
I only use the cream in the morning because I use retin a at night.
I find that the cream doesn't smell much and it's not that thick so it can easily be worn during the day.
I've been using it for 3 weeks and I can see a big improvement in my skin and it is definitely looking lighter!
My skin is whiter and clearer.
I am on to bottle 2 now and my skin does look whiter and people have noticed so it is good.
good but expensives
I think it works, not sure?
I like Meladerm by Civant
My skin is nicer and lighter.
Meladerm and 2% Hydroquinone are the ones that worked best for me but I prefer Meladerm because it's safer and it doesn't smell too much.
Plus it has other ingredients and vitamins in there that help improve the complexion and make your skin look nicer.
It’s helped fade my tan and lightened my skin!
After moving back to England in the winter I could see that the sun tan was more than just temporary.
So I bought 3 bottles of Meladerm and used it twice a day and it has helped reverse the sun damage big time!
My face looks a lot whiter so I guess it works!
What Is Meladerm And What Does It Do?
Meladerm is a skin lightening cream by CivantSkinCare that contains no hydroquinone.
You apply it once or twice per day and can expect to see results within 2-4 weeks.
The longer you use it the better results you’ll see.
Is it just for the face? No, you can use it anywhere on the body where there is discoloration!
Do you need to continue using it after lightening your skin? To be completely honest I’m not sure. I have a feeling that if you stop using it completely then the melanin that Meladerm was inhibiting will start to come through again.
So, to be safe, even though I’ve lightened my skin I’m continuing to use it just once a day now instead of twice as maintenance.
This way each bottle lasts twice as long and at the time of writing this I’ve been using the cream as maintenance for 40 days and my skin is still lighter.
How Does Meladerm Work?
The active ingredients within the cream help to suppress the production of Tyrosinase which reduces the amount of pigment that is released into the skin.
Here are the main ingredients and how they help to reduce skin pigment and lighten your skin;
Alpha Arbutin – This ingredient is one of the best natural ingredients for lightening skin.
Many people like this are using Alpha Arbutin on its own to lighten their skin and are seeing good results.
Show screenshot of post 10 on that forum.
Kojic Acid – This is another popular ingredient among people who lighten their skin. Kojic acid is considered a much safer alternative to Hydroquinone and is about as effective as 2% Hydroquinone.
Sepiwhite – This ingredient is being hailed as a revolutionary new skin whitening ingredient.
It’s a natural amino acid based molecule proven to reduce the production of melanocytes and help lighten skin.
Gigawhite – This ingredient is made up of 7 plant based ingredients and at a 5% concentration it proved effective at brightening the skin and reducing appearance of dark marks and age spots.
SymWhite – It’s an antioxidant that comes from pine trees. Antioxidants are good for the skin!
Licorice Extract – Licorice is an anti-inflammatory that helps to calm the skin and help lighten it.
Other ingredients – The ones above are the main ingredients and are proven to help lighten skin tone.
There are a bunch of other ingredients contained within Meladerm like vitamins.
The 2 other ingredients that I like to see in there are the Vitamin C and the AHA Lactic Acid.
Vitamin C is amazing for the complexion and skin health.
And Lactic Acid helps to gently exfoliate the skin which sloughs off the layers of dead skin at a faster rate so your skin looks healthier, fresher and brighter.
- Money Back Guarantee – Meladerm comes with a 30 day money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied.
You can see the money back guarantee at https://www.civantskincare.com/ordering-and-shipping-policies/
Benefits Of Using Meladerm
Hydroquinone free – If you’ve done any research on Hydroquione then you’ll know that it’s a controversial topic and it may or may not cause cancer.
It can cause ochronosis which turns your skin a bluish black color.
And the rotten chemical smell is so powerful that you can smell it from 10 feet away.
However, if you put aside the risks and the smell you’ll find that Hydroquinone is effective at lightening skin.
But thankfully there’s Meladerm which is Hydroquinone free and proven to be about as effective as using a 2% concentration of Hydroquinone but without the destructive side effects.
Lightens Skin – Without a doubt, Meladerm will lighten your skin.
People are using some of the separate ingredients alone within the cream to lighten their skin.
Meladerm contains 6 active skin lightening ingredients and you should see results within 2-4 weeks and expect to see full results within 2-4 months.
Improves Complexion – You’ll also find that your skin looks fresher and clearer. It’ll look and feel healthier too.
- Remove dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
- Lighten melasma.
- Clear up acne marks.
- Make your skin tone more even.
- Reverse sun tans.
- Get rid of liver spots, age spots and sun spots.
- Can be use all over the body to lighten skin.
- Clear up birthmarks.
- Help get rid of freckles.
I consider Meladerm to be a little miracle in a bottle as long as you give it some time to work.
Whether you’re trying to lighten a dark patch or your entire face I think you’ll be very pleased with your results.
You can get Meladerm from the official website at LINK
Just remember that it will take a while to see results so use it every day for at least a month and then you can enjoy having clearer, fresher and lighter skin!
